How To Make YouTube Videos

This type of ad appears directly in a user's News Feed when they access Facebook on a desktop computer, and it looks more like native advertising. In our experience, these ads have a higher engagement rate than right column ads, but they can also be more expensive. These ads must follow organic Facebook posts best practices and be both engaging and visual. How to track iOS App Installs without Facebook SDK or ANY in-app code
After setting audience and budget, you can build the ad’s creative elements. For the “Increase app engagement” ad type, the settings here are the exact same as they are for the “Get app installs” ad type. The main difference between the two is in the destination and goal for each. For app installs, you’ll typically be interested in gaining more point-of-entry signups, linking to the installation page for your app. Facebook Shut Down Ad Account (Facebook Ad Account Disabled)
Your value proposition should be believable. For example, saying you have the greatest sandwiches in the world will not make people come to your business's Page, but maybe offering 20% off will. Or, perhaps adding social proof will help -- something like, "Sandwiches loved by over one million people every year! Come try yours today and get 20% off your order with this coupon." Colors matter: Do you remember the last ad that caught your attention in the Facebook news feed? Chances are that it was brightly colored and highly contrasted. Research has found that people make up their minds within 90 seconds of their initial interactions with either people or products. About 62‐90% of their assessment is based on colors alone. So yes, you should probably create more colorful Facebook ads if you haven’t done that already. Facebook Pixel - how to track a click on a button or a link?

The ad copy is solid, but it’s the hero image that really sells the Athos app and “smart” clothing. Almost immediately, it’s reasonably obvious what Athos does, even if you’re only casually familiar with similar apps. A screenshot of the app on its own probably wouldn’t have the same effect on the viewer, whereas the juxtaposition of the two elements of the image together results in a strongly intuitive image.
The ad copy pokes fun at other grooming product companies while implying Dollar Shave Club’s progressive attitude in the first two sentences, immediately setting itself apart from companies like Gillette, which have begun to eat into Dollar Shave Club’s dominance of the grooming products sector with gender-specific products that strongly conform to typical norms (the “pink” razors the ad makes fun of).

I did want to mention a recent test that I did where in addition to the call to action below, I placed a link in the text area above the image.  The result out of 5000 clicks? Only 5% of the clicks came from the link up top.  95% of the clicks came from the call to action below.  I believe that people are becoming conditioned to engage that section of an ad.
That said, this ad isn’t perfect. The focus on the Fitbit-like tracking heuristics is a very compelling angle, but personally, I don’t think the ad sells the relationship between the app and the actual clothing line sufficiently. Even though it’s a highly effective image, I’m more interested in the app and what it tracks than the clothing itself, and that’s before I even begin to think about how the clothes look or fit.
The upper copy is a little ambiguous. To me, the connection between “taking care of your needs” and operating an ecommerce business isn’t immediately obvious, but overall, this is another great example of how Facebook’s visual ads can fit well in users’ News Feeds, leverage aspirational messaging to great effect, and how brand continuity across multiple ads can be very compelling and effective. Facebook ads, however, are much better at piquing my interest. Quite often I’ll see ads that aren’t just visually appealing, but also closely align with my interests. I see ads regularly that offer something I’m most definitely interested in, or that are directly tangential to things I’m thinking of buying. This makes them significantly more appealing – and much more effective. How To Spy On Facebook Ads - Free Facebook Advertising Tool Just Released!

Headlines aren’t supposed to tell your entire story — they’re simply meant to grab visitors’ attention and make them want to click your ad to learn more. Making your headline too long could cause users to lose focus and attention, and you to miss out on ad clicks. Instead, aim for a headline around five words, making it clear, concise, and UVP-focused, and then include the remaining important information in the post text or link description. Facebook Conversion Ads
Although ads in the News Feed are likely to get higher engagement metrics due to its native advertising features, right column ads shouldn't be forgotten. We often see less expensive clicks and conversions when using these ads. In order for a right column ad to be successful, it needs to be relevant, have a value proposition, a good visual, and have a call-to-action.

Exclamation marks FTW: Did you notice the exclamation mark at the end of the ad headline? That’s no coincidence. Exclamation marks make us more alert and attentive to messages. That being said, don’t abuse exclamation marks either. As New York Magazine’s The Science of Us writer Melissa Dahl pointed out, “The exclamation mark, once reserved for expressing joy or excitement, now simply marks baseline politeness.” In other words, hacks only work if you don’t overexploit them.
