Now there is one other thing worth mentioning here.  There is an optional section where you can set a limit for the campaign.  How much you spend is usually managed in the next section at the Ad Set level.  However if you know with certainty that you have exactly $100 to spend on this campaign and you don’t want to spend any more.  You can set that amount here.  To set a limit at the campaign level the minimum amount is $100.
Imagine it – someone who’s been making scarves for years, whose family and friends are always telling them, “You should sell these! You could make a killing!” sees this ad. They reflect for a moment, before thinking, “Y’know what? I should sell my scarves!” At this point, they’ve already bought into Shopify’s message, and may begin exploring getting started with the platform. The men’s grooming industry is a billion-dollar business (expected to bring in approximately $21 billion in revenue this year alone), making it a tough market for businesses offering men’s grooming products. That hasn’t stopped one of the industry’s biggest players, Dollar Shave Club, from differentiating itself in an increasingly crowded market, however.

Use contrasting color combinations: Higher contrast can help draw more attention to your ad. It’s not only the red and pink contributing to Nike’s ad success; the white font and background forms a perfect harmony of colors. A Science Direct study examining consumer preferences found that while a large majority of consumers prefer color patterns with similar hues, they favor palettes with a highly contrasting accent color. Simplify, simplify, simplify: If your ads are too complicated to understand in a few seconds, people give up as quickly as they started reading in the first place. A study showed that 59% of people actually never read more than the headline of a Facebook share, so yes, you want to be brief.

Exclamation marks FTW: Did you notice the exclamation mark at the end of the ad headline? That’s no coincidence. Exclamation marks make us more alert and attentive to messages. That being said, don’t abuse exclamation marks either. As New York Magazine’s The Science of Us writer Melissa Dahl pointed out, “The exclamation mark, once reserved for expressing joy or excitement, now simply marks baseline politeness.” In other words, hacks only work if you don’t overexploit them.

The ad for the Heal app above hits the mark on almost every level. The copy above the visual immediately explains what Heal is, while the image itself reassures the viewer with a combination of a friendly, approachable image (featuring a smiling doctor wearing a branded Heal lab coat), and an unmissable trust signal from a household name right in the middle.

That said, this ad isn’t perfect. The focus on the Fitbit-like tracking heuristics is a very compelling angle, but personally, I don’t think the ad sells the relationship between the app and the actual clothing line sufficiently. Even though it’s a highly effective image, I’m more interested in the app and what it tracks than the clothing itself, and that’s before I even begin to think about how the clothes look or fit. Start with low-threat offers: Every time you ask people to sign up for a subscription or buy something from you, you’re asking them to take a chance on you. This friendly, sleepy dog has nothing to do with the software for sale, but it makes me curious. I might even click on it. As a savvy online consumer, it’s very rare that I don’t know where I want to buy something before I start shopping around. Sure, I might be occasionally tempted by a great offer by a retailer I’m not familiar with, but generally speaking, I already have a good idea of where I want to shop long before I sit down to browse. As a result, most online ads seem cheap, disruptive, or misleading – which is why I rarely pay attention to them (when I’m not using an ad blocker, of course). 👀 Facebook Ads in 2019 | From Facebook Ads Beginner to EXPERT in One Video!

Your value proposition should be believable. For example, saying you have the greatest sandwiches in the world will not make people come to your business's Page, but maybe offering 20% off will. Or, perhaps adding social proof will help -- something like, "Sandwiches loved by over one million people every year! Come try yours today and get 20% off your order with this coupon."

Here's an example of a boosted post from Bustle, who promoted one of its articles on Facebook. Bustle's choice of boosted post here falls into that first category.
There's a lot of ad content on Facebook, and when Facebook users scroll through their News Feeds, that content start to blend together. This is extremely important for business owners with an online presence. The post text elaborates on this thought, asking prospects if their customers can find them online. By adding “when they need you most,” the company does a great job of playing off of people’s emotions.
