In order for a right column ad to be successful, it needs to be relevant, have a value proposition, a good visual, and have a call-to-action.

When you A/B test your ads. The goal is to see which image, video, audience, font, color, ad copy, etc gets you the highest click through rate(CTR) or call to action(CTA). I typically perform A/B testing on two images at a time. Running too many variations can interfere with results.
