Text Overlay. ClassPass has taken the opportunity to highlight their catchy tagline by pasting it over their ad’s image, front and center. With the right graphic design, this can be an effective strategy. But don’t add too much text. Use Facebook’s Text Overlay Tool to make sure the proportion of text to image aligns with their guidelines, or else your ad may be served to fewer people.
Maintain perspective regardless of budget: Even though it’s clear that a lot of time, money, and energy went into this VW ad, the enhanced functions are all put in place to highlight the product on offer. If your team or agency doesn’t have the bandwidth to create something this elaborate, you can still produce something customer-centric that provides solutions for your users’ pain points.
For daily and lifetime ads, you can tell Facebook when specifically you’d like the ad to run. By default, if you are running a daily ads budget, Facebook suggests to run the ad continuously. Otherwise, you can choose to start and end the ad on a specific day. (Facebook runs the math here for you and tells you the maximum amount, total, you will spend.)
Eye-catching image. I don’t know about you, but my thumbs slow down for cute dogs when I’m scrolling through my Facebook feed.
