I have business manager setup for my agency – I have access to a client’s page through business manager. The client doesn’t have an ad account, but wants me to run ads for them. We want to setup an ad account for them that’s billed to OUR agency payment method. I don’t see an option to create a new ad account to run ads for this client under my business manager. He’s non-technical and doesn’t know or want to setup an ad account under his personal FB login, so we can’t “request access” or “claim” an account that doesn’t exist. Yet the “create new” option under my business manager forces me to select “advertising on behalf of” … with only my agency name in the drop down as an option … so I don’t think this is the way to go since I’m not advertising on behalf of myself – I’m advertising on behalf of his business.
