Facebook Analytics comes replete with a number of useful features that allow you to see how prospects and customers are interacting with your website, app, Facebook page, etc. This past month, though, at F8—Facebook’s annual developer conference—the people at Facebook announced a number of new features coming to Analytics’ already full suite. The following were paramount among them:

Yes! I’m dealing with this now. You need to have the person who owns the page (in the other business manager) change the primary page of their business manager. It’s the only way to claim ownership. I think there’s a wait period after that before it can be pulled into the new BM too – I keep getting an error that’s “Somethings’ wrong” and another errror flashes up super fast too Facebook Ads Retargeting Tutorial for Beginners - Facebook Advertising Retargeting Campaigns
Facebook offers two categories so you can better customize the fields on your Page. For the purpose of this introduction, let’s say we’re a “Business or Brand.” We’ll create a Page for a (completely fictitious) company called Boston Coat Company and categorize it as a Retail Company. (To choose a category, simply start typing and choose from the drop-down list.) The Worlds GREATEST Stretch!

The first step to giving your Facebook Page an identity is adding a profile picture. This will serve as the primary visual for your Page, appearing in search results and alongside any of your content that shows up in a user’s News Feed. Most publishers suggest creating a photo that’s 180 x 180 pixels, however increasing this slightly will help maintain quality. If you don’t upload an image that is already square, you’ll be prompted to crop.
Business Manager allows you to quickly see all of your pages, ad accounts, the people who have assigned roles and much more. This is especially handy when you need to revoke access to several of your business’s Facebook assets for someone who no longer works for you. Instead of having to go to all of your business assets to remove that person, you simply go to the People section in Business Manager and remove their access to everything in one click. Some businesses have asked – why should I have to pay to ensure that my post is seen by users who are my followers? If a user has liked my page, they should always see my posts on their news feed, shouldn’t they? The answer to this question is no, because it assumes that users spend every waking moment of their life on Facebook’s news feed. For the health and safety of your Facebook fans, we hope this isn’t true!

Thank you for the extensive article. The one question that I can’t seem to find an answer to anywhere is the following. I have business manager setup for my agency – I have access to a client’s page through business manager. The client doesn’t have an ad account, but wants me to run ads for them. We want to setup an ad account for them that’s billed to OUR agency payment method. I don’t see an option to create a new ad account to run ads for this client under my business manager. He’s non-technical and doesn’t know or want to setup an ad account under his personal FB login, so we can’t “request access” or “claim” an account that doesn’t exist. Yet the “create new” option under my business manager forces me to select “advertising on behalf of” … with only my agency name in the drop down as an option … so I don’t think this is the way to go since I’m not advertising on behalf of myself – I’m advertising on behalf of his business. Anyone know a solution or have a recommendation to create an ad account for a client without having to login to their personal FB account to set it up?
